Turn your A+ dream into reality! Follow our expert-designed SSC General Math study plan to cover the full syllabus and secure 95+ marks in your board exams.

Scoring 95+ in General Math isn't just about hard work; it’s about smart work. Many students study for hours but still struggle during the exam because they lack a structured roadmap. To help you dominate the SSC-26 exams, we have curated the ultimate study plan.

Phase 1: Categorize and Conquer (The Syllabus Breakdown)

Don't look at the book as one giant mountain. Break it into four main pillars:

  • Arithmetic & Algebra: Focus on sets, functions, and algebraic expressions. These are scoring areas.

  • Geometry: Master the theorems (Upopaddo) and constructions (Sompaddo). Drawing neatly is key here.

  • Trigonometry & Mensuration: This is all about formulas and visualization.

  • Statistics: The easiest 10 marks you can get. Never skip this!

Phase 2: The "Type-Based" Solving Method

Instead of solving every single math problem in the textbook, focus on Types. Every chapter has 4–5 core patterns. If you master one math from each pattern, you can solve any variation the board throws at you. This saves time and increases efficiency.

Phase 3: The Power of Test Papers

Once you finish a chapter, jump straight to the Test Paper. Look at the CQ (Creative Questions) from the top 5 boards of the last three years. Solving these will give you a clear idea of how questions are twisted and what the "Board Standard" actually looks like.

Phase 4: Time Management & Speed Hacks

In the exam hall, the clock is your biggest enemy. Practice solving an MCQ in under 45 seconds using calculator shortcuts. For CQs, aim to finish one full question (10 marks) within 20–22 minutes. If you can’t manage time at home, you won’t manage it in the hall.

Phase 5: The Final Revision Loop

In the last 30 days, stop learning new things. Re-solve the math you marked as "Difficult" during your first read. Give at least 5 full-length model tests to build your exam stamina.
